Hello,
I am looking for information on the parents of Livia Jane Watson who was born
1773 in Westmoreland Co., PA. She married Alexander McDonald of Guffey,
Sewickley Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA before 1804 and died 25 Jan 1845. She
and her husband are buried in Long Run Presbyterian Church Cemetery in
Westmoreland Co., PA. Allied families in Westmoreland Co. include Reed,
Wilson, Wiley, Brown, Newlin, and McGrew.

Hanover twp is in Lancaster County. I do not find any mention of Livia [or
Lininah] Jane WATSON. Also I have no Avya either. No Alexander McDONALD
mentioned as marring any WATSON. As you will notice by the information below
there is mention of a Jane born in 1751. I hope that this will help you.
Ifyou happen to locate this person and remember it you might send me a note so
that I might put it wit the rest of my WATSON stuff..The following will be a
Family Group Sheet of William & Sarah WATSON.
PS. I have a lot of information on William. A copy of his Will along with

William came from England to Pennsylvania (don't know where) the family
migrated to Fleming Co., Kentucky and later settled in Clermont, Ohio. I do
not have the names you mentioned in my data base or archived correspondence.

Do you have any traditon of Indian ancestry in your Watsons? There is strong
evidence that my McDonald line has one or more Shawnee wives but I'm not sure
in which branch. There were very few white women on the frontier prior to
the Revolution. I have read accounts of early Watson Indian Traders in W. PA
but can't locate them at the moment.
