Mary, Thanks! I see by researching the Watson surname page, that there are several people interested in Cornelius. Like you, I find it quite interesting that he and his family live just 2 doors from Elizabeth, and Martha and Rachael. I am convinced after many years of research and never finding her that this is my Martha Watson. She married Wm. Fielding Columbus HAIL and their first child was born in Linn Creek, Camden Co. MO. This family then moved to Kansas, and settled eventually in Butte Co. California. My particular branch moved to Washington State. The only thing we have ever had on Martha Ann Watson Hail was the grave yards record of her maiden name (Watson) and her place of birth, Springfield, KY which is in Washington Co. I have researched 1830 WA Co. KY and there are only 2 Watson families. Martha's 1880 Census info states she of course was born in KY, and states that her parents were born in Maryland. I'm quite excited about all this, since we have ne!
ver been able to figure out who Martha was. Elizabeth Watson on the 1850 Pulaski states she is born in Maryland. John
