Hi. I am searching for info regarding William "Bill" Whitaker and his 2nd wife, Eva Bingham in the Carter Co. area. William and Eva were married 7/31/1921 in Carter County. I'm not sure if both were born in this county or not. Eva Whitaker is buried in Hunter, MO. I'm not sure where William is buried, although I was told he may be buried in Golden Gate, Illinois. William Whitaker's first wife, unknown, died in a flu epidemic, so when he met Eva, he already had a couple of small children. After he adn Eva married, they had several other children. The children from both marriages are Virginia, Jeanette, Mildred, Mabel, Rosemary, Burl, and Gladys, whom died as a toddler. My grandmother was Virginia. Her mother was Eva, but I'm not sure about the rest. All the children were born in the Hunter, MO area. Any info would be appreciated!
