There is quite a lot of information about Nancy's husband, Henry Christian,
in the "History of Jones County, Georgia, 1807-1907," Memorial Edition
(2003), by Carolyn White Williams with index by Margaret Heard Stephens.
Henry and Nancy Christian Womack were farmers. Henry also owned a grocery
store and a bar in Jones County, Georgia. They were from the Wayside area.
Later, Henry Christian, husband of Nancy Womack Christian, was commissioned
sheriff of Jones County, January 23, 1862-February 16, 1864. Henry
Christian was commissioned tax collector for Jones County, February 16,
1864-March 8, 1866.
There is a write up about the Christian family in the "History of Jones
County, Georgia, 1807-1907". It says that early in 1800 Hardy Christian
(antecedent) lived in Hayward, North Carolina. He had a large family some
of whom came to Jones County, Lewis, Rucha, and Henry.
I know about the Christians, who is Nancy Womack?
