OK, so far so good.

We are about 3 blocks from the St John's River, in Jacksonville, in a 95
year old house. It has withstood a lot!

I managed to get my son- in-law past his machismo attitude and OFF the
beach. He and my daughter and 2 little kids live about 2 short blocks off
the ocean,(you can see it from their front windows). His dad lives ner by.
So, all of them are here with me, in town, now.

IF it looks like we need to leave, we will caravan to my cousin's in
Tallahassee.

I have the insurance papers, a bckup file to my family treemaker and a few
other things ready to stick in teh car and head West if need be!
