Subject: [WEBB] Re: WEBB Timeline Southern States & WEBB Resources

This is to remind our long-time listers and acquaint our newer list members
that I have a "work in progress" WEBB Timeline: Southern States" webpage at
http://hometown.aol.com/awnrdc/page1.html The emphasis is definitely on the
earliest references to WEBBs, rather than the post-1850 WEBBs.
It is by no means comprehensive, but it might help some WEBB researchers. The
items on here are documented, even though I haven't cited all the sources
(yet). I accept contributions of sourced material, suggestions, complaints and
even compliments! I plan to add some links to historical maps as well as
critical data about county formations.
One new feature is a link to Jonathon Webb Deiss's site. Mr. Deiss is a
serious, professional researcher of the Northern WEBBs, and he has a great deal of
information on his site. The link takes you to a page he has constructed of
genealogy books regarding the WEBB Family, including the Robert Dickins WEBB
material, which covers some Southern WEBBs, and some Military Records. I think
most listers will enjoy taking a look at his pages. He also has a great deal
of information about Mid-West & PA WEBBs.
