Can anybody out there please help me???
Henry SEEMS and Ann TREHERN were married 1753 East Woodhay, Hants. Ann was
bapt 1728, Coombe, d of Thomas and Mary nee OATES. Henry was probably Henry
SIMS s of Richard and Esther nee POCOCK bapt West Woodhay 1727.
What I am trying to find out is what happened to Henry and Ann after their
marriage.
They had no children bapt East or West Woodhay or any of the adjacent
Hampshire parishes.
They do not appear in the Hampshire or Wiltshire Burial Indexes.
Did they move to Berkshire?
Or did they perhaps settle in Linkenholt, Hants, for which no PR survive
between 1750 and 1780? (except the Phillimore Marriage transcripts)
In particular, I am looking for anything which might either confirm or
eliminate them as parents of William SEEMS or SIMS who marr Frances GLASS
Easton Royal, Wilts, 1776. William and Frances called their eldest son Henry
and their eldest daughter Ann. They settled for several years in Faccombe,
which is adjacent to the Woodhays (and Linkenholt).
Any help/advice, etc would be very wecome.
Dorothy
