Hi David

I am advised that the transcription of the Register for the Westbury
Leigh Baptist Church is probably kept at the Wiltshire AO, wherevever
or whatever that is? No doubt the WRO at Trowbridge can advise you!

I have some CLIFT rellies who were involved in the Westbury and
Westbury Leigh Baptist Church but have still to follow this branch any
further.

I'll send the e-mail address of my informant off-list if you wish, but
the address is 2 or 3 years out-of-date.

It seems that most of the villages in the area had their Baptist
Chapel during the 19th Century and I note (looking at the Old-maps
site) that not far from Westbury Leigh Penknap also had a Particular
Baptist Chapel very close by.
