I wonder if this is the correct list to post this query to??

I have John SPOKES b 1805 and transported to australia. his papers give Reading as his native place
I believe that there are some publications of some of the birth transcripts for reading. I wonder if anyone has access to these for this time and could have a look for me ..... only if they are indexed of course
