Hi,
I am new to this list. I am trying to find my family in Yeovil, Somerset. Simon Dobson (m) Helen Sheill in 1874 at the Indepenant Church in Yeovil. They had a son George in 1876 and another son Douglas in 1878. I don't know if they had any other children. About 1896 George and his mother Helen came to New York City. I believe George's father had died and I don't know what happened to Douglas. Simon was born somewhere in Scotland. Helen was born in West Coker. Helen's parents were John Sheill and Eliza ?. They had another daughter named. Eliza. Any help would be appreiated.
