Is it true that if I wanted a legal document dated 1795, I would seek help
in Hardin County, KY rather than Breckenridge County, KY because of the
dates?

I need to get a copy of an indenture between a Nicholas RICE and a Charles
HICKMAN dated, as I said, 1795. I have a copy of the outcome dated 1819
after both Charles and Nicholas were deceased.

I am a descendant of Nicholas RICE and Mary Ann Marilda Elizabeth HICKMAN.
Any info on how I could get this document OR anyone researching this family
would be most welcome. They migrated from Breckenridge County along with
the BRUNERS, CLAYCOMBS, PECKINPAUGHS, EDWARDS, and other related families.
