Dear Bob,


I realize now that my first claim was correct after all. Leo Clark was
living next door to two brothers on the 1900 Grayson County, Census.
James Wilford Clark and wife Trecie________ are found as Househould
#142. and his brother John Andy Clark and wife Mary A.______ were found
in household #147.

I have adjusted my data accordingly, and added several new Clark's I
knew nothing about. Thanks for correcting me. I think we are going to
start to make some progress. has any of these findings added new data to
your data base?


I also made another discovery. Nancy Elizabeth Collard (wife of Leo
Clark son of Mathew C. Clark and Mariah Bray), She was the daughter of
William H. Collard and Sarah E. Clark- who not only was Leo Clark's
mother in Law by his marriage to Nancy Elizabeth Collard, but she was
already his Aunt. Sarah E. Clark was a daughter of John B. Clark who
married Nancy Bray. So that means Leo Clark married his 1st cousin when
he married Nancy Elizabeth Collard.


Wow. I sure have learned alot of new things this weekend. Also the
Robert Greene who married America Amanda Clark daughter of Charles A.
Clark and Julia A. Burks, was also found on 1900 Census of Grayson
County as Family # 66


William H. Collard and wife Sarah E. Clark are on same Census as
houshould# 165. The children they have listed are likely grandchildren
not their own kids. I have found a brother and a sister of Nancy
Elizabeth Collard.


If someone out there has all the children of William H. Collard and
Sarah E. Clark I would appreciate having it.


I think using the 1900 and 1910, 1920 Census is going to be the door
opener for correcting most of my Clark data.


I wonder if you have marriages for James Wilford Clark brother of Leo
Clark who married Nancy Elizabeth Collard?

I have a suspicion he may have also married a 1st cousin.


I also checked my Data. My appologies to all. Thomas Clark was not
buried at Beatty Cemetery, his 2nd wife was Nancy Bruner (McGrew) Clark was.
