Subject: BOWLING CHAPEL CEMETERY

I sent the messages about Bowling Chapel Cemetery on to my mother. She has
CORLEY in her lines and has researched them and many other lines for over 60
years now. The following is what she answered back and asked me to put to
the list for her. She is not on the list, but you can send requests to me
and I will forward them to her. Please bear in mind, that she has limited
time for the moment, and it may take her awhile to get back to you, but she
will do lookups for you. She is not real quick at computers yet, but is
learning. She had 8 eye surgeries in the past two years that slowed her
down quite a bit, but everything is fine now. She just can't handle a lot
of messages at once, so I am on the lists and forward what she would be
interested in to her.

I have relatives buried there to including my father's brother and his first
wife. It is a church cemetery. It is on a hilltop north of Boling chapel
Church. It is on a blacktop road to Patesville, Hancock Co. Ky. There is
also a Boling on Bates Hollow Rd a few hundred yards south of the next to
last house on the east end of the road. Some unmarked graves and some with
field stones. Susie Bates was an aunt of mine and that was where she and
her first husband lived, and later her second husband lived in Bates Hollow.
This is not far from the Roseville Cemetery only on the opposite side of the
road. You can not see the gravestones from the road the last time I was
there.

Some of the surnames of the approximate 140 graves are by far the Boling's ,
Crowe, Arrington,Corley, Craig, Hatfield, Harris, Huff, Jones, Keown
Lain/Lane, McManaway, Orr, Quisenberry, Sanders, Snyder/Snider, Spencer,
Thurman Veach, Voyles, Bates, ( My aunt's
parents) The West Central Kentucky Family Research Association, did have a
Hancock Co. Kentucky Cemetery Book for sale with this and other cemeteries.
Not all but a lot of cemeteries. I am a member of this group and I have the
book. As time permits, I could do look-ups
Note: I did not list all surnames.

Please note there is a very small Boling Cemetary and then there
is the Boling Chapel Church Cemetery in Hancock Co., Kentucky.

PLEASE - put lookup request in the Subject line of your message. Thank you!
