Not much of a thaw today. Roads are still covered, but most are passable if you use common sense.
Another article from The Edmonson County News of February 1929. I don't think I've posted these articles before, but if you remember reading them, let me know and I will try to find where I left off.

Mrs. Alpha Hazelip Webb
Mrs. Alpha Webb, widow of the late D. W. Webb, died Monday night her home on Nolin River after a long illness from complications. Funeral and burial services were conducted Wednesday morning at Temple Hill, attended by a large gathering of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Webb was about 57 years old and is survived by three sons, Charlie, Louis and Loys, and four daughters, Mrs. Blanch Jacobs, Mrs. Annie Denham, Mrs. May Gibson, Mrs. Clara Webb and Mrs. Bea Cox. She was a devoted member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church and until her health failed her was an active worker in the church.
