Hi, Dinnie.
The Registration District is just that--it's not necessarily the place of birth,
death or marriage. Some of my family's events are registered at North Bierley,
which is part of Bradford. We lived in Calverley (which has no Registration
District), and the only time anyone ever went to North Bierley was to register
something. Why do you think the 1875 marriage is not your Sarah? Did you check
the groom's name to see whether there's a match? Marriages are almost always
registered because it's not left up to the individuals to do the work--the
