I am researching the Brayshaw (Brashaw) family of Harewood and am
particularly interested in Alban Brayshaw who was born there in 1830
as he is in the direct line that I am tracing.

My gg-grandmother was Martha Brayshaw, born at Harewood, 1823,
who was an elder sister of Alban.
Their parents were Thomas Brayshaw, stonemason, and Hannah ???
I have found Alban on the 1841 census although Martha has apparently
left home.
I asked recently about the Bradshaw family on the Leeds list and
a member sent me some information about Harewood MIs, including one
for Thomas and Hannah.
I've emailed Brian directly to exchange details but thought I would
like to let the list know of this success :-)
Three quarters of my family are from the West Riding, (one eighth
from Pocklington, one eighth from Lincolnshire). Unfortunately the
three quarters are from all over the West Riding (Nun Monkton, Leeds,
Sheffield, Almondbury, Harrogate, Harewood ....) which makes tracing
them difficult.
