Looking for Joshua and Hannah WEST of Hampshire who had a daughter
Martha WEST b. 9/11/1819 in Sherborne St John. Trying to determine if
this is the same Martha WEST who came to Morgan Co IL and m. Andrew
Milton Emerick 4/27/1839.

Family tradition has it that Martha West EMERICK's father died en route
back to England and her mother was born in the Tower of London (possibly
the child of a beefeater?)
