This is my first contact with the WEST list and while I have been
researching the Irish link for some time, it is difficult to obtain much
information due to the fire of 1922 when so many records were destroyed.
However I am ever hopeful and will briefly list what details I have.

Lendrum WEST, Physician & Surgeon known to have resided in Brookeborough,
Fermanagh between 1851 & 1864. (My Great Great G/father)

Lendrum West, listed in Griffiths valuation as leasing house, garden etc in
Main Street, Brookeborough plus leasing vacant land at Tattendillur also
from Sir Victor A Brooke.

His daughter Mary Ann WEST born Enniskillen 1847.

Daughter Elizabeth born in Brookeborough 26th April 1853

Another daughter Amelia born Brookeborough 7th September 1864. Her birth
certificate lists her mother as Mary Ann (nee Parker) & father Lendrum West,
Physician & Surgeon.

In December of 1864 his daughter Mary Ann WEST then aged 18 sailed to
Western Australia. (my Great Grandmother)

To date we cannot find any trace of Lendrum or his family after 1864 and he
is not listed as being buried in the Aghavea cemetery even though his
daughters were baptised in the Aghavea Parish Church.

I would be most grateful for any further information.
