I am still looking to see if anyone else has connections with The Meadows family who lived in various parts of Wexford Ireland in the 18th & 19th centuries- locations are not very specific apart from Sarshill? & Killinick. My own interest stems from a letter written in 1947 by an aged Gt. aunt.My Meadows were in Gloucestershire by 1700 supposedly having fled from Ireland .
Could they have fled 2 ways England & America?
My own brief examination of Irish records indicated that there were a number of Meadows families in Wexford at the time, but very few in the rest of Ireland, the current Eire phone book shows very few.
