Sometimes I wonder if my family really came from Wexford as it seems to
be the last place in Ireland that a Sullivan would come from. But by all
records, my gg grandfather Daniel Sullivan, who was born about 1800 and
came to Louisiana about 1920, was from County Wexford.
His three brothers and a sister followed. Brother Michael brought his
Irish wife, Catherine Murphy and sister Mary brought her Irish husband,
Patrick Fenlon or Fenlen. This is all I know. I have not been able to find
the parents of the Sullivans in Wexford nor where in the county they were from.
It just looks like maybe Mandy and I might have a connection. Does anybody
have any ideas or help?
