Hi, I'm trying to trace my grandfathers family. He was Edward Hayes born in Wexford in 1902, his parents were Michael Hayes born I believe around 1866 also in Wexford and Ellen Meaney born around 1865 in Limerick, Ellen died around 1904 in wexford. I have applied for Edwards birth certificate( not sure yet how Ellen's name was splet), also Ellens death certificate. Not sure where to go after that. Michael moved to Wales after Ellen died and later remarried, on that certificate he states his Father was also Michael Hayes(deceased) and he worked in an Iron Foundry. My Father was born and raised in Gorey, Wexford, but he can't remember if or where the foundry was. Does anyone know what area it would have been in ? I thought I might narrow my serach if I knew the area Michael Hayes senior was working in. ANY HELP or advice gratefully received.
