My name is Alison Ressler and I am a descendant of Martin F. Phelan/Whelan and Elizabeth Keefe, who were married on February 13, 1845 in Castlecomer, Ireland. I am interested in joining the Clann O'Faolain, if possible, and finding out more information about my ancestors and relatives. Martin and Elizabeth had 12 children, the first born in Egremont, England, and the rest born in Syracuse, New York. Their 8th child, John Francis Whelan, was my great-grandfather. Any information would be appreciated.
