William Whitaker and Elizabeth Carlton had a son Joshua. Joshua was born in
Chester County, PA. He married Mary Reed. They had a son, James, born in
Rowen NC (who was in NC Congress) who married Mary (Polly) Walker. They had a
son, Silas who married Rebecca Allison (Ellerson). They had a daughter, Nancy
Adeline who married John Harvey Allen. This is my line.
