you'd like to do Tenn??? great!!

I'd suggested you go to liberary. photo copy out pages from census
from 1790 to 1840 ( maybe 1850)
looking for any Whit_____ you can find. I've found some
strange spelling. just sure the census taker could not understand the accent
of the person. who no doubt couldn;t read eather. so wrote down names like

Whitzer or Jamse not James.

Whitticur whitacar all sorts of spellings.

bring home all these photo copies and type them out for each census year
depends on what infor the index showed you.
Your not reading micro film just index books. but putting all these
whit***** in one place we might help others and maybe even outselves.

So! will you do tenn??? Pleeese?? great!
Good adventure for you. and you might find somone your looking for at
same time.

We already have Ind. Ky. Mo. and Ark. and Penn in the works.
so hopefully you can do one or more once you get into it. states.
