From the Westford Vital Records -- Charles WHITNEY was born in Southborough MA
on 11 Dec 1828. The vital records don't mention a middle name for him. His
parents were David and Catherine WHITNEY. He had the following siblings:

Hiram b 10 Nov 1834 in W.
Harriet b 29 Jul 1836 in W.
Albert b 28 Oct 1839 in W.
Mary b after 1839 in W.

According to the Lancaster Vital Records, Joel WILDER Jr.married Deborah H.
WHITMAN of Lancaster, not Deborah Whitman WHITNEY. In the death record of his
son George Waite WILDER, he is listed as Joel WILDER 2d. You do have the
correct date of marriage. Where did you get WHITNEY as her surname?
