Mea Culpa! Mea Magna Culpa!! I do apologize to our "Virginia Cousins" for
having omitted Samuel and/or Francis. While I'm at it, there is at least one
other among us who is interested in a 19th C. immigrant Whitney from (I
think) Cheshire, and I have to confess I've lost track of the details of that
search as well.

We have gotten so big and have so many diverse points of search that I have
lost my ability to keep it all in my head. If every one with a dead end will
send me a short paragraph with the NDRP (thats Name, Date, Relationship &
Place) of their earliest or problem Whitney, I'll volunteer to collect them
together and organize them somehow (alphabetically or chronologically or
geographically) and then post the results to the list so that everyone can
have a handy, dandy reference.

Did the files that I sent as attachments to everyone who asked for them come
through OK? I think I have answered everyone who has asked for a copy of the
various VR's that I announced a few days ago. If you asked and I sent and
they came through without problem, don't bother - just let me know if you
didn't get what you asked for or there was a problem in the transmission or
reception.
