Dear Bobbie,
While visiting my daughter in the Charleston Area, we wandered through a
lovely churchyard cemetery. It was, I think, the Presbyterian Church on
Meeting Road in Charleston. We saw the following burial sites and I
thought perhaps they might be relatives of your family.
They are:
Archibald Whitney, d. 19 June 1847
Eugenia Mary Ann Whitney, b. 6 Apr 1804 d. 13 May 1862
Placida Emma Whitney, b. 25 Oct 1834 d. 23 Feb 1911
M.G. (might have been Montgomery) Whitney, d. 17 Jun 1909
William Whitney, d. 26 Jan 1781, age 50
Samuel, son of William, d. 8 Jan 1771

I've been trying to find a family for these Whitneys ever since I found
them, but with no success. Maybe they might be of yours?
