Hi,

I am thoroughly confused.! Can someone help me?

According to Bond's History of Watertown, Page 645, Line 75, Mary
WHITNEY, dob 21 Apr 1694, married John FISKE, Jr. on 7 Jun 1711. This
shows her as the daughter of Joseph WHITNEY and Martha BEACH.

According to "The BEMIS History and Genealogy, being an Account in
Greater Part of the Descendants of Joseph BEMIS of Watertown, Mass",
Page 3, by Colonel Thomas Waln-Morgan Draper, Mary WHITNEY, DOB 30 Sep
1689, married John FISKE, Jr. on 7 Jun 1711. This shows her as the
daughter of Samuel WHITNEY and Mary BEMIS.

Which Mary is correct? Draper's book was published about 50 years later
than Bond's. Is his information more accurate? Does anyone
know? Can you cite another source for me?

I sure would appreciate some help.
