Dear WRG:

Here again are more Alexander questions that don't even mention any Whitneys?
Is there an Alexander maillist that these questioners could use?

Question for other AOL members. I did not received any e-mail from Maiser
from last Sunday until Thursday, and I am subscribed to four different lists
coming from that source. Did this happen to anyone else on AOL, and if so,
has there been any explanation? I did get other e-mail, just nothing that
came out of Maiser.

BTW, my show went quite well, and I'm happy with it. Now it is time to go
back to genealogy.

Happy Hunting

Allan

I am trying to connect my Ezekiel Alexander, born 17 June 1726 in Cecil Co.
Maryland, died 1811 in Mecklenburg to Martha Robinson, to his father and
mother unknown. Some people think that he is the son of James and Margaret
McKnitt, brother to Hezikiah, but I can find no proof. I did find in the
book on Mecklenburg wills, a will of William Alexander who mentioned his
brothers James and Ezekiel. Also, in the book on early Mecklenburg deeds,
mention several times that James and Ezekiel owned land together in Sugar
Creek and was deeded that land in 1753! Other deeds mention that James's wife
was Elizabeth, William's,(a blacksmith) wife was Rebecca and Ezekiel's wife
was Martha. That would definitely connect him to my Ezekiel and Martha.
Hezikiah Alexander did not have brothers named William or James. His
brother Ezekiel, born 1754 had all his children in Maryland and died in
Tenn.Anyone connected to this line, please contact me at:
