Thanks for keeping up with the mail list....... I Know nothing about on-line
procedure... I just research and would very much like to continue list.....

I have a Whitney reunion in Houma, Louisiana this week-end and I really hoped
to complete or at least target my Whitney family.....Seems I've lost a
William Whitney who came from Kentucky and his son George Washington Whitney
born there in 1819 married a Sarah Compton widow of a Joseph Ellender from
Ohio. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Compton and Anna Vandoosen from New
York. They moved and purchased land in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana in the
year 1835. George died in La. 1841.... I feel George came down with a
sister Louise and a brother William.

For
years I've tried to connect to the Penn/Mass. Whitney's but it just didn't
connect. SO I've started on the Whitney's from Bermuda.........Can't find
any help..........No one on -line has every connected me...........Don't
know where else to go..........Keep up the good work...
