Dear WRG:
My wife is glaring daggers at me for being at the computer instead of helping
her finish packing, as we are trying to leave by 9:30 tomorrow morning for
points West. I've been very gratified to have so many old friends check in
and let me know they are still with us. Still a few I haven't heard from
that I am wondering about, particularly a couple of the original dozen or so
from Fall 1995 when we started.
The latest list of people who have declared themselves, most to the list, but
one or two to me directly is:
Karen Trouvat, Debbie Stelmach, Jack MacDonald-Hilton, Susan Whitney Dunn,
Robin C. Brown, Doug & Peg Adams, Terri Stone, Karen Nugier and a new person
identfied only by the address <>. Also, Ardie wrote me
to say that my guess (Broward?) was wrong, she is Ardie Brown, and the AOL
screenname is derived from that (obviously).
I have gotten a couple of notes that suggested that something happened to my
"Second night report" - perhaps there was a problem with it. So, I'm
reprinting the list of names that I had posted in that letter. They are:
Jim Whitney, Ray Whitney, Glenn Selch, Fred R. Whitten, Donna & Ralph
Gosselin, Barry Whitney, Marion Leska, Val Adkins, Bernice Herndon, Bert
Smith, Ken Klutz, Mary Ellen Sharp, Ms Snowbal (Mary), Susan Shannon, Steve
Kraus, Jacci Jordan, Paul & Brenda Nichols and Peg Sanborn.
Remember, I'll be checking my mail almost every day while travelling, but
will not have all my files or bad correspondance with me on my laptop's HD.
I will have the three basic Databases, i.e. the J&E11, the CT-Whitneys, and
the no longer reliable earlier Whitney line from Thomas Whitney's supposed
father Robert on back. I may pick up the soon-to-be-created *Unconnected
Whitneys* database while travelling, if it becomes available, but then you
could too, by asking for it.
Really must get back to packing.
Happy Hunting ;-)
Allan
