WHITNEY, Russell m. Billicent (Hurley?) and settled in Madrid NY. Children:
Royal Edwin, Harry, Catherine Hurley Whitney, all born about 1825-1840 in
St. Lawrence County (Madrid, Morley, Canton, Lisbon). Russell ~I believe~
was born in VT and Billicent in MA. Russell was a farmer. Upon adulthood
Royal Edwin and parents moved to Lockport, Niagara County, NY where he was a
Justice of the Peace and war veteran. I believe that ROYAL is a family
surname and hope someone else has his branch of the family tree.
