Subject: Re: Version 12 (and apologies for misspelling)

Dear WRG:

Sorry about the misspelling of "marriage" on my last post. I usually catch
these as I go, but that slipped past me.

My "computer guy" was here tonight and we hope that we have cleared up my
problems. If I don't get a GPF during this long e-mail session (182 messages
tonight), and checking out several web sites to see if they have anything
useful for all of us, I'll tackle the GEDCOM problem again tomorrow, and
report on the results. I told Alice (who asked me) that I would try to
import the PAF specific into my older version 2.31, which is still on my
computer even though I don't use it any more. If it works, I'll tell you and
will be glad to forward a copy of that file to anyone who is still using the
older version - as I am sure Jon would also, if asked. Tomorrow during the
day has to be devoted to my goodwife Green, who is very involved with a
regional meeting of the DAR and I have to assist in hosting the HODAR (that's
Husbands Of). For the historically inclined, I'll be hosting a tour to visit
a hangar at the airport where they are restoring and reconstructing a WW II
P-38 (Lockheed Lightning) that was rescued from 258 feet down in the
Greenland Icecap - part of the famous "Lost Squadron". I researched it a
couple of years ago for an article I had to write for one of those local
Historical Society "coffee table" books that we published.

Happy Hunting:-)
