Clarence Almon Torry, _New England Marriages Prior to 1700_, says that
John BAYLIES ( -1682) m. bef. 1642, Rebecca -----, who m. 1684 William
HALLETT; he lived in Jamaica, LI, NY. There is no hint of a maiden name
for Rebecca.
