While going through a box of odds and ends that belonged to my
great aunt, I found (on the back of a poem she had cut out) a photo
of Mrs. Almeric Hugh Paget (nee Whitney), from a photograph by
Mendelssohn, New York. The very top of her head is cut off but
she was a beautiful lady.
My scanner has a serious problem of unknown origin so I cannot
send it that way. If this rings a bell with anyone, let me know.
