According to a Whitney book I read," Eliza Whitney,b at Pawling, NY, 22 Feb
1800, daughter of Daniel and Lydia (Newbury)Whitney, married at Enfield,
NY, 28 Dec 1820, James Hervey Halliday, a farmer, son of William and Ann
(Hulett) Halliday, of Bethlehem, in Cornwall, NY., where he was born 2 Dec
1800. They settled in Enfield; and moved, about 1825, to Bonny Hill, in
Cameron, now Thurston, NY, where she died, 12 Apr 1841. He was living
there in March 1875, with a second wife."

Eliza (Whitney) and James Hervey (Harvey) Halliday were my great, great,
great grandparents.
I have further information on their descendants.
