I am a direct descendant of Ira Whitney son of Nathan Whitney and
Tabitha Bennett from Conway, MA.

My descendancy is as follows:

1. Nathan Whitney and Tabitha Bennett
2. Ira Whitney and Rebecca Hartwell
3. Joel Whitney and Sarah Mead
4. McKendre Hiram Whitney and Caroline D. Mandeville
5. Susan Flaville Whitney and John Calloway Harper
6. Edward Hiram Harper and Anna Lee Kimbrough
7. Robert Howard Harper and Martha Thelma Hobbs
8. Li Ann Harper and Robert Alvin Lee

I am Li Ann Harper Lee. I would like to see if anyone has information
on Ira Whitney b. 1761 of Conway, MA and died 1839 (either NY or PA).
He married the first time in Williamsburg, MA and after his 1st wife
died he married Rebecca Hartwell.

His one daughter Tabitha Whitney married a Homer and lived in Port
Jervis, NY. Several of the other children including my Joel, moved to
Warren Co., PA from NY. Joel died in Warren Co. Hiram his son died in
1863 from Warren Co. His wife Caroline married Peter Brokaw and moved
to Missouri and then on to Washington Territory and they both died there
in Goldendale, Washington. My grandfather Edward Hiram Harper was born
there and died in Los Angeles, California. My father Robert Howard
Harper is still alive and living in Twin Falls, ID. I live in Twin
Falls, too. There are others of this family that are researching. If
you want our information, we would be willing to share and bring the
information up to date.
