Allan and Bryant,
Based on a 1908 publication of old and new town names in Maine; Once
[just] Biddeford is now Saco and Biddeford; Once [just] Pepperellborough
is now Saco and Old Orchard Beach.
Saco and Biddeford are "Twin Cities" like Lewiston/Auburn Maine, St.
Paul/Minneapolis. They exist next to each other, and are dependent on each
other. Hope this helps. Jan
