Marilyn: My database shows the Joshua Whitney (son of Joshua Whitney and
Amy Blodgett) as married to Sally Cochran. My source: New England
Historical and Genealogical Register Vol 138 p37: "married to a Miss
Cochran...left several children."

His brother, JOSIAH, married Susannah Hinds as his second wife, according to
my notes from Pierce's Whitney Genealogy. The same source and page as above
states "His friends never knew where or when he died."

This is all I have on this family. Unfortunately no marriage dates were
given in the NEHGR.
