Dear Cousins,

Based mostly on information prepared some time ago by the Mulberry Grove
Foundation, I have put together a web page about the Plantation in Georgia
(not too far from Savannah) where Eli Whitney developed the cotton gin

including one to a page describing the troubles that the Foundation has
run into in its drive to restore and develop the plantation as a historic
site. Perhaps some of you will be inspired to contact a still-active (?)
member of the Foundation Committee, Mr. Wade Waters, Vice Chairman, 308
Pinewood Drive, Pooler, Georgia 31322 (912) 748-7909 to find out the
current status of their efforts or to offer some guidance or help.
