Subject: [WHITNEY-L] The Pierce Project Status Report - 20% Complete!

Since we began The Pierce Project on January 26th, we have made tremendous
progress. After just 20 days, we have now COMPLETED 20% of the total
project and 38% has been adopted or completed.

I'd like to thank the following people who have completed one or more sets
at this time:

Henry M. Whitney: 8 sets completed!
Eleanore Dilello: 3 sets
Shawn Whitney: 3 sets
A. Whitney Brown: 2 sets
Bertha Emmett: 2 sets
Greg Cote: 1 set
Mike Poston: 1 set
Marion Leska: 4/5 set

There are many more volunteers who are currently working on sets, but this
list just includes those who have submitted sets to me.

Each set consists of 5 pages. Volunteers are free to pick which set they'd
like to transcribe. Want to do your great-grandfather's family? Just let me
know and I'll look up the set he falls in. Are 5 pages too much for you?
Just let me know and I'll break up some of the sets into smaller sizes.
Don't have the book? Just let me know and I'll arrange to have scanned
images or photocopies sent to you.

I'd like to thank everyone who has volunteered so far and encourage others
to pitch in too. Imagine having all 664 pages of Pierce's book available
online! This will make it possible to search the entire text for any word
