Good morning everyone,
I only have a moment but I wanted to respond quickly to Sheila's posting. I can
not say "who" this Jacob WHITNEY is, but can add a bit more information to it.
I just received my index and two volumes of the Yates County NY cemetery
listings. One of my lines - SHEARMAN - married into my WHITNEY line and was

Unknown section (these were people who were listed in various sources as having
died in Penn Yan but where not located in the cemeteries searched.
WHITNEY, Edward R. 1908 Dec 16 D ae 55 PY b. Yates Co.
Here are a list of names that were also in the index but in volumes that I did
not purchase.

Hope this helps someone.

be moving the garage today and my husband is looking over my shoulder
saying...you don't have time for genealogy today!!! He just doesn't
understand. whoa is me!
