Dear WRG: A kind soul passed along the following information to me
recently. This adds more descendants for John Whitney of Watertown, Mass.

This concerns Jane-3 WHITNEY (Benjamin-2, John-1)

Jane WHITNEY b. 29 Sep 1668/9, Watertown, Mass.
--My Source notes: "Whitney Genealogy" by Pierce - She is No. 63 on pg.27;
NEHG Register Vol 11, Apr 1857 p117 "6 ch."; Bond p645.

Married 4 Jan 1693/4 in Sherborn, Mass., Jonathan MORSE, the "eldest son" of
Lt. Jonathan MORSE and Mary BARBOUR, who was b. 11 Jul 1667.

Children of Jonathan and Jane (WHITNEY) MORSE were:
Abigail Morse b. 23 Apr 1695, Maplewood, Mass.
Isaac Morse b. 27 Mar 1698, Maplewood, Mass.
Jane Morse b. 5 Jan 1702/3, Maplewood, Mass.
Eunice Morse b. 10 Aug 1706, Maplewood, Mass.
Abiah Morse b. 17 Jan 1708/9, Maplewood, Mass.

The info on Jane's children is from Charlotte Brennan of the Morse Society,
as given to me by Lois Godbout on May 23, 1999.

Just thought I'd pass it along as these children are not found in our
Whitney database (#13) and Pierce does not follow the line further.
