According to Banks's 'Planters of the Commonwealth' (Which tries to give
all ships to New England 1620-1640) the master of the Defence of London was
Edward Bostock. Left London the last of July and arrived at Boston October
8 with about 100 passengers. These are then listed (pages 167-170)
including William Reade @ 48, Mrs Mabel Reade @ 30, George @ 6, Ralph @ 5
and Justus @ 1 1/2.
Coldham's 'Complete Book Of Emmigrants' has:

London, Mr. Edward Pearce (but later changed to Thomas Bostock), bound
