Hi WRG,

I realize that many of you are researching Whitney's who came to America in
the 1600's and 1700's, but this is addressed to those latter day Whitney's
who waited until the 1800's.

Has anyone noticed a passenger list in the 1842/43 time frame with an
Edmund Whitney, wife Frances and infant Isaac? I have looked at everything
I can find online with no results.

I know that Isaac was born in England in May, 1841. Another son, Charles,
was born in New York in 1843 according to the 1850 New Jersey census. I
"assume" they immigrated sometime during 1842, probably to New York, and
would love to find the name of the ship and the record of their arrival.
