Dear Pat & WRG:
Michael Whitney, who maintains the database for the "Southern Whitneys",
is connected to this line. My copy of his database shows that Joshua
Whitney (b. abt Dec 1690 Bermuda; d. abt Jan 1736 Edgecombe County,
North Carolina) was the son of David Whitney and Martha (--?--); and
grandson of Samuel Whitney and Catherine (--?--). I believe Samuel was
born in England in circa 1615 and died in Bermuda in circa 1674.
Just in case Michael is not 'listening in' at the moment, his e-mail
address is: I'm sure he'd love to hear from you,
Pat!
Michael's web site has more information:

Keep us posted -- and good luck!
