Seeking information about Mr. and Mrs. Samuel WIDNEY of Los Angeles, CA,
1947. My great-grandfather Earl Adelbert FUNK's funeral rememberance book
contains a newspaper clipping mentioning "Mrs. Samuel Widney of Los Angeles,
an aged aunt, a former resident of Whitehall." White Hall is in Greene Co.,
IL. Earl's parents were Henry Cordell FUNK and Mary Ann DAVIS. Earl's
grandparents were Esau FUNK, Dicey HASSLER, Thomas DAVIS, and Thomas's wife
Jane, all from nearby Scott Co., IL. Earl died December 30, 1947. Any help
in identifying Mr. and Mrs. Samuel WIDNEY would be greatly appreciated.
