The only L.H. Whitney I am familiar with is Lorenzo Henry Whitney - my Great-great-grandfather. He is listed in the Pierce book.

Dear Joanne: I wish I could help, but I don't see any of your names in
my current databases.

To aid you, I have forwarded a copy of your message to our Whitney
Research Group. Maybe one of the other group members can help you.
Also, you might try searching the Whitney Research Group's web site:

Good luck!

Jeanne,

My name is Joanne Kay Williams Kim originally from Libertyville, Il. I
am
the daughter of Stanley Warren Williams and Dorothy Genvieuve Schaber
Williams. My father was the son of Elmer Warran Williams and Margaret
Louise Staats Williams. My grandfather was the son of Henry Williams
and
Martha A. Rix Williams. After the death of Henry Williams in 1902, my
great-grandmother married L.H. Whitney who was a widower. She passed
away
on Sept 5, 1935 shortly after her husband's death.

I am trying to locate information on Henry Williams. He was born in New
York around 1867 and died in Libertyville Nov 2, 1902. His death
certificate stated that he lived in Libertyville for 45 years so he and
his
parents must have moved when he was less than a year old. I would
greatly
appreciate any information you might be able to provide.

I may be reached by phone at (919) 387-0857 and by email at
.

Thanks,

Joanne
