I'm looking for information on Miranda Whitney, daughter of John Whitney
(windsor, vt., b. 1783) and Miranda Marvin. She was born in 1842 and came
to Iowa from Indiana with her sister, either Sarah or Hannah.

She was married to Francis Redman and later changed their surname to Redmon.

I've come across a few Whitneys while researching Montgomery County,
Iowa. Please let me know if you have have a connection.
