I received this site was e-mailed to me from another mailing list I am on,
thought I would share. It is interesting; the WHITNEY name is in it.

It is a computerized database of submitted family group sheets. You can
search it by surname. It is a commercial database owned by an old genealogy
publisher -- but there are a lot of names and if you find a match you may
be able to contact the contributor directly.
